Before any brush comes out, we feel the coat to the skin, ask how they like to be handled and agree a finish that suits your week. If something isn’t right, we’ll say so.

Choose the coat closest to your pet’s and see how we’d groom it, and how to care for it at home.

Curly coats

Soft, springy and quick to knot close to the skin.

At the studio: A bath, a full blow-dry to straighten the curl and a scissor or clipper finish to the length you’d like.
At home: Brush down to the skin a few times a week with a slicker, then check with a comb.
