What to share before their first groom

A first groom goes better when we know the pet before they’re on the table. Here’s what to share with us beforehand.

Their coat story

When were they last groomed, and what was done? A photo of a finish you liked tells us more than a description.

How they handle

Do they mind their feet, ears or face being touched? Are they unsure about loud noises? Tell us honestly so we can plan the pace.

Skin and sensitivities

Any itchy patches, allergies or shampoos that didn’t suit them. If your vet has recommended a product, bring it.

Your routine at home

How much brushing can you do between visits? It helps us suggest a finish you can keep up with.

The finish you have in mind

Neat and short, soft and natural, or simply tidy. If you’re unsure, we’ll suggest something that suits the coat.

Your next conversation

Tell us about their last groom, how they handle and the finish you have in mind, or call us on (202) 555-0115. We’ll plan their visit with you.
